                                                          A favorite quick recipe:

25-30 minutes.

Your Choice Salad Mold

Heat 2 cups of water to boiling and dissolve a 6 oz package of fruit-

flavored Jello. Chill until slightly thick, then add an 8 oz can undrained pineapple and 1 cup sour or cottage cheese. Pour into 1 1/2 quart mold; chill. For added flavor and texture, 1 cup or less or mandarin oranges, grapefruit sections, or red and green grapes can be added.

Crushed pineapple mixed with 2 tbsp. brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg is excellent as a topping.

Quick Cinnamon Rolls

2 loaves Rhodes frozen sweet dough

cinnamon, butter, sugar.

Thaw bread dough thoroughly. Roll out on floured pastry cloth into square. Spread lightly with soft butter, sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar. Cut in half, lengthwise, roll up like a jelly roll.

Pinch end closed, and cut into 12 slices. Put in greased 9x13 inch pan and repeat for other half of dough. Let rise until light, bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Makes 2 dozen rolls.

May be frosted with powdered sugar glaze:

2 Tbsp. butter, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 2 cups powdered sugar and just enough milk to make into thin frosting.

Sweet-sour Sauce

2 T. butter                                  ¼ c. brown sugar

½ c. water                                  ¼ c. vinegar

¾ t. salt                                      2 T. cornstarch

Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in sugar, ¼ c. water, vinegar & salt. Make a paste of cornstarch and remaining ¼ c. water. Add hot mixture, stirring until thick and clear.
