As China is a big country, people in different places celebrate it in different ways. A week before the holiday, we do a lot of shopping for presents, nice clothes and delicious food. On the Eve of the Spring Festival, all family members get together at the parents' place for a big dinner and the dumpling is the traditional food. We usually watch the wonderfur TV programmes till midnight. Children wear new clothes and get the money in a small red bag from their grandparents. We send short messages to wish each other good luck in the new year by mobile phone.
