     On October 1st 2009 all Chinese people were excited because it was our nation's 60th birthday. I
watched the great National Day celebrations on TV with my parents. In order to celebrate National Day,
our city was more beautiful than before. The street was clean and many trees were covered with colorful
lights. I could see national flags everywhere. Some educational activities were organized at school, such
as singing songs, speech contest, basketball match. They were all about National Day. Our nation is
stronger and stronger and all of us are pound of her.
